Mini Mayhem : Part 1

Sooooo, I have randomly decided to book a 'short' trip with my friends, and its basically turned into travelling to three different countries across a two-week period!

So in this post i am going to let you guys in on our plans (that may or may not happen) for the journey!

Parc de la Citutadella, Barcelona, March 2017

First Stop : Barcelona

It's very hard to have not been to Barcelona, with the ridiculously cheap flights (ours was £17.99 from Manchester), short flight duration, and decent weather (compared to the UK), if you haven't already been its a MUST! In the mini trip, the four of us will be going to Barcelona for 4 nights, staying in a hotel with Bed & Breakfast for only £90 each (£22.50 per person per night including breakfast). The hotel is situated on the main street, the famous Las Ramblas, just off the Plaza Catalunya, pretty much the perfect location to explore this Cosmopolitan City.

Next Stop : Rome

Roman Colleseum 2016

Rome, arguably one of the most Historical City's in the world, is only an hour away from Barcelona. This hour long plane ride (which we purchased for only 14.99 euros..... YES EUROS!!!) was a perfect fit for our mini getaway. The weather, promising to be similar to that in Barcelona, makes it not too much of a problem knowing what to pack (obvious an important point as i am a female blogger here! ha). Unfortunately, the group of four, will whittle down to only two, as the other guys cant get more time off, but hey, there's plenty of people in Rome! We booked our accommodation through Hostelworld, which I've mentioned in detail in my previous post, costing us both £135 for the 4 nights again (£16.88 per person per night). Everywhere in Rome is pretty accessible on foot, so wherever you choose to stay shouldn't be a problem!

Hamburg in Febuary 2017

Last Stop : Cologne

As you continue to read my blog posts, you'll realise I do have a big love for Germany, and that along with my love for Christmas, means visiting a German Christmas Market is a MUST do on the list! Cologne isn't one of the most popular places people would naturally thing to go, as Berlin, Munich and Hamburg (all absolutely beautiful btw) do seem to be the most popular among tourists. However, which the impressive cathedral, and huge Christmas market, we thought we would make our way from Italy to see what its got the offer. Again the flight was crazy at only 14.99€, so it would be silly to not go! The weather is another story though, and by this I mean a very very cold boarderline freezing one! At only 8 degrees tops in the day, and an optimistic 4 degrees during the night, its the coldest place of the trip, meaning I'll be wearing at least 5 jumpers! (which ill probably be wearing on every flight seeing as we've only got a small hang luggage bag booked on all the flights to save money!) I am actually so excited to check into our hostel, it has themed rooms and a 'nightclub' (or so they say), so my next blog might have some very interesting photos on! (a little pricier at 30 euros each per night, but the photos do look intriguing).

I'll link all accommodation in my next post, along with all the trips photos and adventures!

Catch ya later!
